FLORAL DESIGNS FOR CHRISTMAS

CHRISTMAS DESIGN 9

I have used a gold cornucopia basket for this table arrangement, with a plastic saucer and floral foam for the mechanics. The foliage used is blue Picea pungens glauca, blue conifer (unknown variety), xFatshedera lizei (plain), and xFatshedera lizei 'Anna Mikkels' (variegated). The flowers used are red Carnations and red Roses. Two gold wicker balls and a gold bow give added interest, and gold cord winds its way throughout the design. A bunch of artificial grapes have also been added, although fresh grapes would be good in this, too. Two red apples have been hollowed out enough to fit in two red scented tea lights, which when lit, give a lovely glow to the design (see detail picture below). The flowers were from the florist, and the foliage was from the garden.
