This design has been made to hang on a wall diagonally, and is really simple to make. It is made from two stems of Corylus avellana 'Contorta' (contorted Hazel), which have been sprayed gold, and wired together about half way down their length. A wire hanger is attached at the binding point. Some gold artificial flowers and some red berries have been arranged and glued on to the stems using hot-melt glue, and a tartan bow finishes off the design. Although the design has been made as a wall hanging, it looks equally good just placed on a table or window ledge. |
