CHRISTMAS DESIGN 42

This very quick to make Christmas design has been made in a tall silver and gold vase. There are no mechanics involved as all the materials are artificial or dried, and are arranged straight into the narrow neck of the vase there they support each other. I began with a sheaf of silver dried grass which has been tied with a plaited rope finished with two rope tassels, and this stands upright in the vase. Then I added a long rope of silver and blue tiny baubles which loops at the front of the vase, then spirals upwards round the sheaf of grass. This is secured into the sheaf at the top with a wire. Next, I inserted two artificial cream and gold Poinsettias, one at the front and one at the back of the design. Two groups of artificial silver glittered bulrushes were added next, and finally, three silver mirrored baubles were wired and added in a group on the right.
