This arrangement was one of three which I made for a demonstration to Bromsgrove & District Flower Arranging Society. I have used a silver base, and a silver shallow dish with floral foam for the container. For the height, I have used some silver painted curled palm stems, with some silver glittery ting-ting. Foliage used was dried Eucalyptus, Picea pungens glauca (Blue Spruce), Fatsia japonica variegata, Aspidistra elatior variegata, Hedera helix 'Erecta', and Hedera colchica variegata. Flowers used were all white, and included Lissianthus (Eustoma), Carnations, and Lilies for the focal point. I have also used three white and silver candles in the centre, to give a festive feel! To finish the design, I have wound round a string of irridescent beads, and added a group of glass cubes at the front, which resemble ice cubes. |
