LEYMUS ARENARIUS (Syn. Eleymus arenarius)
Common Name: None
Family: Gramineae/Poaceae
This a lovely deciduous grass with very blue foliage, around 1 - 1.5 cm thick. It can be quite invasive. It prefers a well-drained soil in full sun. In flower arranging, it is useful for its linear form, which arches beautifully. It can also be plaited or woven to make a completely different texture. |
