HEUCHERA SPECIES

Heucheras are evergreen or semi-evergreen clump-forming hardy perennials. There are several different species, and they grow to around 30 - 50cm high. They have lovely flowers in summer which vary from pink to white or cream. Heucheras are one of my favourite plants to use in flower arranging. The leaves are very long lasting, even in floral foam. There are a great many lovely new varieties coming out now, many with beautifully marked leaves. A few of my favourites with purple or red-brown leaves are shown below. | |||
