FARFUGIUM TUSSILAGINEUM 'CRISPUM' (syn. F. japonicum 'Crispum', Ligularia tussilagineum 'Crispum'
Common Name: None
Family: Asteraceae/Compositae
This is a semi-evergreen or herbaceous perennial, with very unusual crimped edges to its leathery leaves. It is hardy to around -5°C, and needs mulching in winter to protect it. It also has yellow daisy-like flowers in late autumn. It needs partial shade and plenty of water. Prone to slug damage. Lovely to give a change of texture in flower arrangements. |
