In this design, I have used a round shallow basket for the container, with floral foam for the mechanics. I've made a collar of Eleagnus pungens "Maculata" around the edge of the design. Also around the edge of the design, I've added some flexible twigs of Betula pendula (Weeping Birch). For the height, I've used blue Dutch Iris, with a group of Daffodils next to it. On the left of the design, I have grouped some double white Tulips. At the base of the design, I've grouped some Daffodil heads. Also at the base, but not really visible in the picture, I've added three egg shells, with a single white Tulip just emerging from each one. (There is a closeup view of this feature below.) To finish off, I've added some green Reindeer Moss to add texture and help cover the mechanics. |
