This design uses just five roses and some variegated Hedera helix for foliage. I have used a black ceramic vase for the container, with floral foam for the mechanics. I first constructed a framework of black bamboo stems, tying them together with green raffia. Then I inserted a collar of the Hedera leaves. The roses were placed at varying heights around the bamboo framework. Then, some green-dyed Cladonia rangifera (Reindeer moss) was added to give another texture and form, and to help cover the floral foam. Finally, I wound some gold bullion wire around the whole design.
