For this design, I have used a gold vase, with floral foam for the mechanics. For the height, I have used red Gladioli (still in bud in the picture). Other flowers used are Phlomis russelliana, peach Roses, orange Gerbera, Kniphofia (red hot poker), orange Lilies, lime green button Chrysanthemums, red Crocosmia masonorum 'Lucifer' and purple Lissianthus. Foliage used is xFatshedera lizei, yellow-leaved Hosta, red leaves of Geranium (species unknown) and plaited Leymus arenarius (Lyme Grass), looped across the front of the vase. To finish the design, gold-sprayed stems of Corylus avellana 'Contorta' (Contorted Hazel) have been added, to repeat the gold colouring of the vase. All the foliage was from the garden, and the Crocosmia and Phlomis were from the garden. All other flowers were from the florist.
