I have used a willow ring as the container for this design, and a green plastic florists' saucer just fits neatly into the hole in the centre to hold the floral foam. I have grouped the plant materials, which are closely bonded to give a slightly domed effect. The flowers used are peach Roses, peach standard Carnations, and peach spray Carnations. The foliage used is Heuchera 'Pewter Veil', Hedera colchica 'Sulphur Heart', Hedera helix 'Buttercup' (rolled and wired into groups), Rubus tricolor, Heuchera 'Chocolate Ruffles', and Leymus arenarius (Lyme Grass) which has been plaited and spiraled across the design. I have added three green wicker balls, and a group of Lychees for added form and texture.
