This design is a traditional symmetrical triangle shape. The vase is white ceramic, and is a traditional urn shape. The colour scheme is green and white. I have used Cordyline australis leaves for the height, and other foliage used is Cotoneaster horizontalis, Hosta 'Night Before Christmas', and white-variegated Hedera helix 'Ann Marie'. Flowers used are white Lissianthus (syn. Eustoma), Libertia grandiflora, white standard Carnations, creamy-white Matthiola incana (Stocks), green button Chrysanthemums, Phlomis russelliana (in bud), and for the focal point, white 'Cassablanca' Lilies. For added interest and a change of texture, three green wicker balls have been added to the arrangement, and a further three have been placed at the base of the vase to bring the colour down and to take away from the dominance of the white vase. |
