This is a very simple, elegant design, which was inspired by this lovely hand-made pottery container. (A £1.50 bargain from the Bromsgrove & District Flower Arranging Society sales table!!) A gracefully curving stem of black-painted Salix matsudana 'Tortuosa' (Twisted Willow) forms the height, and Zantedeschia 'Mango' (Calla Lily) and 'Leonidas' Roses give a good contrast of colour. A few Fatshedera lizei 'Anna Mikkels' leaves, and a swirl of Xerophyllum tenax (Bear Grass) complete the design. Floral foam has been used for the mechanics. The flowers were from the florist, and the foliage and Salix were from the garden.
