This design has been made in a clear glass container, which has been filled with glass nuggets of varying sizes and shapes. Some bear grass has been swirled around the inside edge of the container to give extra interest. A clear plastic dish sits in the centre of the container and holds floral foam for the mechanics. I've established the height of the design with some Yucca leaves - snip off the sharp point if using these. The shape has been further defined with Nandina domestica, Hedera colchica 'Sulphur Heart' and Hedera canariensis foliage. Eight pink roses are the focal flowers, with a group of green spray Chrysanthemums to give a contrast of colour, and some Hedera colchica 'Sulphur Heart' flowers for added texture and interest. Two loops of bear grass across the design add rhythm and a contemporary touch.
