This traditional style symmetrical triangle arrangement has been made in a square plastic container, with floral foam for the mechanics. The height is established with two Phormium tenax purpurea leaves, and the width with Weigela florida purpurea. The height of the arrangement when using a low container should be roughly twice the width of the container, plus the height of the container. For a symmetrical design like this, both sides should be the same width. The shape has been established with a selection of different shaped, coloured and textured foliage such as Hedera colchica 'Sulphur Heart', Buxus sempervirens, Heuchera 'Marmalade' and Cotoneaster cornubia. Yellow roses form the focal flowers, with white Lissianthus used as secondary flowers. Recession has been achieved with green spray Chrysanthemums, and yellow Statice limonium (syn. Limonium sinuatum) has been used for the filler or transitional flowers.
