For this design, I've used a round pottery container in yellow and lime green. Inside the container I've used a square of yellow flower wrapping fabric, and the floral foam sits inside this. Once the foam is in position, the fabric has been cut to size to form a frill around the edge of the design. More of this fabric has been pleated and made into fan shapes to add to the design. This is an all-round design, and I've used Phormium tenax variegata for height in the centre, with the other flowers and foliage grouped or distributed evenly around the design. The flowers used are yellow Gerberas, yellow Roses and green Skimmia confusa 'Kew Green'. The foliage used includes Fatshedera lizei 'Annemeike', Hedera colchica 'Sulphur Heart', Pittosporum tobira variegata, Nandina domestica, and an un-named yellow variegated Box (Buxus sempervirens). I've also used two Phormium cookianum 'Yellow Wave' leaves which have been rolled on the ends and stapled, to add a bit of rhythm and interest.
