This is an all foliage design, using foliage from the garden. For a successful all foliage design, you should choose foliage of different colours, shapes and textures. For this design, I've used a green Dartmouth pottery container and floral foam for the mechanics, with the foliage of the following plants:
Bright red: Fascicularia bicolor, and autumn coloured Geranium palmatum
Deep red/brown: Berberis thunbergii atropurpurea, Vitis purpurea, Cercis canadensis 'Forest Pansy', Phormium tenax atropurpureum and Acer palmatum atropurpureum
Yellow: Hedera helix 'Buttercup' (nine leaves in the centre have been curled and wired into cone shapes and grouped to give a focal point)
Blue green: Eucalyptus species
Green: Adiantum
Green/white variegated: Euonymus 'Silver Queen'
Green/yellow variegated: Lonicera nitida 'Lemon Queen'
Green/grey undersides: Senecio 'Le Roi'
