For this design, I have used no floral foam, only twigs for the mechanics. I've used a glass straight-sided dish, and cut lengths of Hazel twigs, which I've wound round and round inside the dish. Some shorter lengths have been criss-crossed inside, and fixed in between the round twigs to support them and keep them in position. The design is very simple, consisting of three stems of pink Singapore orchids, three blue Hyacinths, and three leaves of Fatshedera lizei 'Annemieke'. Finally, a swirl of bear grass helps to give rhythm to the design.
