This is a front-facing design which incorporates fruit and flowers. I have used a round basket for the container, with floral foam for the mechanics. I've used some stems of Corylus avellana 'Contorta' and Buxus sempervirens for the height, and the autumn-tinted foliage of Vitis coignetiae for the width, together with foliage of Hedera colchica 'Sulphur Heart', and rolled Dracaena leaves at the front. I have used a decorative small pink Pineapple on the left of the design, with other fruit being three small apples, a small bunch of red grapes and a small bunch of miniature bananas, called bananitos. The fruit has been secured into the design with wooden barbecue skewers, except for the small bananas and the grapes, which have been pinned on using a wire pin. Flowers used are 'Prado' Carnations, orange Roses and bronze Chrysanthemums. |
