This design features the contemporary technique of "sheltering", or the "umbrella" effect. The design has been made in a shallow aluminium dish, with floral foam for the mechanics. The sheltered effect has been created with two Monstera deliciosa leaves, which are arranged over the top of the design, like an umbrella. Other foliage used is Hedera colchica 'Sulphur Heart', and Dracaena, some leaves of which have been rolled or folded. The flowers have been grouped for effect, and are orange roses, two varieties of Heliconia, Ginger Lily, bronze Chrysanthemums and pale green Carnation 'Prado'. |
