This design has been made in a basket, with a plastic dish inside and floral foam for the mechanics. The floral foam is cut around 2 inches higher than the rim of the basket, so that foliage can be angled downwards. The foliage used is Lonicera 'Baggesson's Gold' and Cotoneaster to establish the circular shape, with Hedera helix (Ivy) and Diosma 'Pink Fountain' foliage to fill in. Flowers used are five stems of mauve Dendrobiums (Singapore Orchids), each cut into two, six pink Roses for focal flowers, and two stems of green spray Chrysanthemums for recession and filling in. |
