This tall contemporary all-round table centre design has been made in a wicker basket, with a metal container inside and floral foam for the mechanics. The basket stands on a metal stand, which sits on a base of the same material as the basket. I've used some orange coloured sisal to cover the foam around the outside. Foliage used is Paeonia delavayi (Tree Peony), Gladioli, Hedera helix and Hedera colchica 'Sulphur Heart'. For the height, I've used three red Gladioli. Other flowers used are pale peach Carnations, and orange/red Roses. For added interest, I've used two groups of three wicker balls. Each grouping of flowers and foliage is duplicated on the other side, giving visual balance to the design. I've also added a few "nests" of orange sisal to repeat the colour and texture of the sisal used in the rest of the design.
