For this design I've used a round basket, with floral foam for the mechanics. I've covered the edge of the foam with Sphagnum moss to form a platform. I began the design by making a circle of tall stems of green Dogwood, Cornus stolonifera flaviramea. Then I've added spring flowers in layers, with white tulips being the tallest layer, then daffodils, then Helleborus 'Red Lady', then at the base, Skimmia japonica 'Rubella'.
