This design is a traditional symmetrical triangle, and has been made in a glass spaghetti jar, with pink sisal inside to add some colour. The floral foam for the mechanics is in a plastic container which fits into the neck of the glass jar. I've used two leaves of Phormium tenax purpurea for the height, with a further two leaves which have been curled and stapled, to add interest. Other foliage used is Hedera colchica 'Sulphur Heart', Lonicera pileata and silver Senecio laxifolia 'Le Roi'. 'Stargazer' Lilies have been used for the focal area, with pink roses for secondary flowers and lime green spray Chrysanthemums for recession. Finally, I've added some silver aluminium decorative wire to give rhythm and accent to the design. |
