This design features "Crystal Accents" gel, which is a decorative product which when added to water, swells to form large crystals. It comes in several different colours, and looks wonderful in glass containers, especially when the sun catches it. Here, I've used Crystal Accents in white and yellow, layering the colours in a tall glass vase (see closeup, below). You can arrange flowers straight into the gel, but here I've used a clear plastic container which fits into the top of the vase, and floral foam for the mechanics. In this design I've used a stem of yellow and green variegated Dracaena, and the foliage of Fatsia japonica 'Aurea', Hedera colchica 'Sulphur Heart', Viburnum davidii, and Buxus sempervirens. The only flowers used are five yellow Gerberas, and ten red and yellow Roses. Some lime green sisal has been added for texture and interest.
