This is a contemporary all-round design which would be suitable for a low table. It is made in a round basket, with floral foam for the mechanics. I began by adding foliage around the edge of the design, in groups. This was Fatsia japonica 'Aurea', Buxus sempervirens, Viburnum davidii and Hedera colchica 'Sulphur Heart'. Then I added two groups of Cotinus coggygria 'Royal Purple' in the centre. Groups of red standard Carnations, red Roses, purple Lisianthus, green spray Chrysanthemums and red Skimmia japonica form a dome shape to the design. Finally, I've added some "nests" of green sisal to add interest and texture.
