I have used a blue hand-made pottery vase for this design, with floral foam for the mechanics. Some Corylus avellana 'Contorta' has been used for the height, with a group of white tulips coming through the centre. Some white Dendrobium orchids have been grouped at the front of the design. In the centre I have used some Hedera helix 'Anne Marie', which have been rolled and wired into cones, and these have been grouped to form a good texture. On the right are some Mahonia japonica leaves, and on the left, some Fatsia japonica leaves, which have been shaped into fans. A piece of Corylus avellana 'Contorta' with catkins has been used on the lower left of the arrangement to complete the picture.
