This is a very simple but elegant design which would be great for a table centre at a wedding, or for a silver anniversary, or just because you like it! It's made on a flat glass dish, with five 80mm glass globes surrounded by some glass nuggets. The globes have rounded bases, so I've placed them in a small glass tealight holder, and once they are filled with water, they are quite stable. (You could also use these globes in a hanging design by suspending them with decorative wire, ribbon or string.) I've used just one white rose and one silver Eryngium (Sea Holly) flower in each globe, and linked them all together with some Ceropegia woodii, a trailing succulent plant. |
