This design is an idea for a competition entitled "Culinary Delights". I've used a large Balti dish for the container, with floral foam for the mechanics. Some lime-green sisal has been wrapped round the foam to help hide the mechanics. For the height, I've used some dried Okra pods, and at the base of the design, foliage of Hedera colchica 'Sulphur Heart' and Hedera helix 'Buttercup' add visual weight. The only flowers used in the design are some terracotta coloured roses, the rest of the design being made up of groups of fruit and vegetables. These are tomatoes, asparagus spears, shallots, baby aubergines and a group of edible Brown Beech Mushrooms. Some green Reindeer Moss adds texture, whilst two wooden spatulas add interest.
