Like the previous design, this design is a contemporary table arrangement. I've used a brown ceramic dish, with floral foam for the mechanics. I began by covering the foam with a mix of lime-green and dark green sisal. Then I made a construction using pieces of brown dried restio. I used three pieces at a time, and wired them together using copper bullion wire (see closeup picture, below left). I pinned the contruction to the foam for stability, then added two groups of five orange Roses, and two groups of five green Carnations. Finally, I added two groups of dried Platyspernum heads, the colour of which matches the container. It's important not to add too many flowers, as this will hide the construction, which is part of the design. |
