This is a traditional symmetrical triangle arrangement, made on a tall square galvanized container, with floral foam for the mechanics. I've used Phormium tenax purpureum for the height, and other foliage used is Cordyline australis purpurea, Aspidistra whose leaves have been curled and stapled on the ends, Fatshedera lizei, Hedera colchica 'Sulphur Heart' and Sarcococca hookeriana var. digyna (Christmas Box), which is in flower with small white highly scented flowers. I've also used some silver-painted stems of Salix matsudana 'Tortuosa' to pick up the colour of the container. The flowers used are pink Gerberas for the focal flowers, with white Roses, pink spray Carnations, blue Aconitums and blue Eryngiums. |
