This design has been made in a rectangular glass container. I've used a third of a block of floral foam, and wrapped it round the outside with a large Phormium tenax leaf, which has been cut to size and pinned into position at the back. If narrower Phormium leaves were used, you would need to use more than one in order to cover the foam. Three "Shamrock" Chrysanthemums have been inserted into the top of the foam, which is well down inside the container. I've then inserted ten red roses at differing heights. Finally, I've added a loop of Flexi-grass for added rythmn and texture, and inserted the cut-off ends at differing angles in the design. |
