Here's a symmetrical triangle design as you've probably never seen it before! I've used a brown ceramic dish, and floral foam for the mechanics. The floral foam is wrapped with orange sisal to hide it, and to give a good texture. I've made a triangle by using ten willow sticks, five each side, fixed together with some copper bullion wire. This structure is then pinned to the floral foam, and forms the basic triangle. I started to add the flowers from the top, using five orange standard carnations. Below this, I've used seven yellow and orange roses. Below these, I've used four orange Gerberas. At the base of the design, I've used some lovely bronze coloured spray Chrysanthemums, and interspersed these with green spray Chrysanthemums. I've also made a couple of small circles from orange sisal, and added these at the base to give a bit of interest. |
