This is a very traditional design which is not seen very often nowadays, and would have been very popular in the 1950's. It is a fan-shaped arrangement, made in a white pottery oval-shaped urn, with floral foam for the mechanics. I have used only Prunus laurocerasus "Otto Lukyens" for the foliage. As the container is white, I have used mostly white flowers. The flowers used were white standard Carnations, with pink & white "Stargazer" Lilies for the focal point. Some pink Alstroemeria have been used as secondary flowers, with white Gypsophila for transitional or filler flowers. White spray Chrysanthemums have been used for recession. |
