This design is a traditional symmetrical triangle, which would be suitable for many different occasions and situations. I have used a classical urn-shaped white ceramic vase, and floral foam for the mechanics. For the height, I have used two Phormium tenax leaves, and the shape is defined with Eucalyptus foliage. At the base of the design, I have used some Fatsia japonica aurea leaves. For the focal area, I have used some lovely pink and white Lilium "Stargazer". As secondary flowers, large pink roses have been used. Because the container is white, it is important to use white flowers, otherwise the container becomes too dominant. I have therefore used white spray Carnations, and white standard Carnations, with white spray Chrysanthemums for recession. To complete the design, I have used pink Chamelaucium uncinatum (Geraldton Waxflower) as a transitional or filler flower. |
