For this design, I have used a rectangular blue ceramic container, with floral foam for the mechanics. This arrangement is in the European parallel style, where all the material is grouped, and arranged in parallel lines. At the base of the design, I have grouped the foliage, and layered it. I have used Hedera helix 'Buttercup' - a lovely yellow Ivy, Hosta 'Golden Tiara', and a plain green Hedera hibernica. I have also used Golden Feverfew (Tanacetum aurea), and Eucalyptus at the back of the design. The flowers used are yellow Tulips, purple Allium 'Purple Sensation', pale green Carnation 'Prado', yellow Roses, and grouped at the base of the design, green Chrysanthemums and blue Eryngium (Sea Holly). For added texture, I have made two "nests" of lime-green sisal, and placed these either side of the design. |
