For this design, I have used a brown ceramic bowl, with floral foam for the mechanics. Foliage used was Aspidistra elatior variegata, some leaves of which have been looped and stapled, Mahonia japonica, Fatsia japonica variegata, Asparagus officinalis, and Astelia nervosa, whose leaves have been used with the silvery underside uppermost, and have been looped and stapled. Flowers used are two white Hippeastrums (Amaryllis), five white Hyacinths, seven purple Iris, and seven white Tulips. Three willow balls have been added for texture and interest, whilst lime-green Reindeer Moss (Cladonia rangifera) has been used to fill any gaps. Finally, a bow of lime-green paper ribbon was used at the front of the design for accent. |
