This design follows the parallel style, and I have used a rectangular green dish and floral foam for the mechanics. For the height, I have used two groups of two Cordyline australis leaves. At the front and sides of the design, I have grouped and layered different plant material. From the bottom left to right of the design, these are: Hedera colchica 'Sulphur Heart', Heuchera 'Plum Pudding', green berries of Pieris formosa 'Valley Rose', Chrysanthemum 'Kermit', Hedera helix, more Hedera colchicum 'Sulphur Heart', and Heuchera 'Silver Scrolls'. On the left of the arrangement, I have used a group of cerise pink standard Carnations, and on the right, a group of cerise pink Roses. In the centre, I have grouped some Eryngiums, and behind those, a group of Heuchera 'Silver Scrolls' flowers. Further groups of Chrysanthemum 'Kermit' have been added for colour contrast. |
