This arrangement has been made in a low oblong container, using floral foam for the mechanics. I have used Cordyline leaves for the height, and to the left of these are some Phoenix palm leaves, which have been plaited to change their shape and characteristics. Other foliage used is Hosta 'Francee', Hosta 'June', x Fatshedera lizei, and Heuchera 'Stormy Seas'. The woven grey foliage in a wide loop across the arrangement is Leymus arenaria, a blue grass, which I have used with the underside uppermost, as that is the more silvery side. Flowers used are yellow Lilies, and pink Celosia. All the foliage was from the garden, and the flowers were from the florist.
